Program 12 – May 21 Call2ACTion: A Salute to Our Vets Co-Presented by VFW Post 1881May 21 Saturday 3:00-5:00pm Special Guest – Miss Cheyenne Kendra Henderson -  She will represent Cheyenne in the Miss Wyoming competition this summer. She received her commission in the U.S. Air Force as a 2nd lieutenant after graduating from Claremont McKenna College with degrees in Biology and Classical Studies. She conducts research and analysis for the 30th Airlift Squadron of the Wyoming ANG. This fall, she will pursue an in MS Molecular Biology at the University of Wyoming. She works closely with the Children’s Miracle Network to help Wyoming families with hospitalized children.

A Very Bad Place (7 min Short Film) The Shoot Out Cheyenne Top 10 - Directed by Eric Brown (Wyoming) Spence Miller (Scott Flack) is far from his home in Tampa, Florida. He's hungry, tired, and simply wants a hair cut. Unfortunately for Spence, the Cheyenne barber (Glen Chavez), a hidden chamber, and a dead king's curse await! Filmed on location in Cheyenne's historic Masonic Temple.


A Warm Wind (93 min Feature Film) Directed By Jeff London (Arizona) David finds out that his cousin Buck, A U.S. Marine, is coming home from the Iraq war a wounded man. David makes a decision to take care of Buck, and Buck accepts his offer to move in with and helps Buck deal with his post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and his physical handicap. He must step-up to be strong for Buck while adjusting to coming home to a different life.

Event Development and Implementation
WCM produces the annual Shoot Out Cheyenne 24 Hour Filmmaking festival in the fall. The event attracted 21 film making production crews to Downtown Cheyenne. The top 10 films were screened at the Lincoln Theater.

Community-Based Training and Out of School Learning

WCM provides training services to students of all ages in Southeast Wyoming and beyond. Training may be on an individual basis or for groups.


Fiscal Agency – Co-Production – Event Production

WCM sponsors and co-produces projects for individuals or organizations without 501(c)(3) status. Non-profit status provides many benefits: productions be covered under the WCM liability insurance, be eligible for grants from foundations and the government, investors in your project can enjoy a tax exempt donation as allowed by law.
